  • Job Summary:
    Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology (IT) solutions with business initiatives. Prepares functional, system, and program specifications. Performs work typically routine in nature, at the task level, and on a daily or short-term basis, with minimal latitude for unreviewed actions/decisions. Works under immediate supervision, seeking assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
    • Devises or modifies basic or low-complexity information systems including analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
    • Determines and recommends programs required for optimal problem solution within cost/performance objectives
    • Participates in requirements planning and feasibility determination
    • Performs, analyses, and prepares reports to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments
    • Works on tasks including project or functional requirements, functional design, functional configuration, testing, and documentation
