  • Job Summary:
    Provides strategic direction, programming leadership, operational oversight, and evaluation for pre-college programming with institutional scope in support of preparing individuals to be successful in their higher education endeavors. Develops and fosters relationships with constituents in support of the program and community partners.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes pre-college program objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources and alignment with the strategic plan
    • Determines pre-college program staffing needs
    • Develops operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and pre-college program unit objectives
    • Develops and oversees the program budget
    • Advises institutional leadership on pre-college program services and student needs
    • Serves as the unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups providing pre-college program information
    • Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships
    • Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
