Job Summary:
Oversees and manages analytical testing services in support of quality control operations. Develops goals for client-specific projects, provides technical expertise, budget oversight and staff supervision.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages the testing of biopharmaceutical products for in-process and release testing and outsourcing of specialized quality control (QC) testing
- Develops project-specific assays and performs QC assays and release testing in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Develops, executes, and implements analytical methods, conducts qualification and validation studies, and trains others
- Oversees and manages client-specific quality control projects and provides updates on project components and timelines to stakeholders
- Assists with the development and auditing of project-specific budgets
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
