Job Summary:
Directs the operations, budget development, curriculum, and teaching policy for one or multiple early childhood education facilities to ensure safety and compliance and foster an environment of learning and development. Serves as the key leadership contact to promote the objectives, mission, and goals of the early childhood education program.

Job Responsibilities:
- Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes unit objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, staffing resources, and alignment with the strategic plan
- Develops operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and unit objectives
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Develops and audits the unit budget
- Serves as the key leadership contact for internal and external stakeholders and promotes effective communication in a professional work environment
