Job Summary:
Assists attorneys and legal staff by investigating facts, preparing legal documents, or researching legal precedents to prevent or minimize impact of legal risks involving the institution.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, exhibits, and real estate closing statements.
- Gathers and analyzes research data from pertinent sources to determine causes of action and to prepare cases
- Meets with clients and affiliated personnel to discuss details of case(s)
- Files pleadings with the court
- Assists with preparing witnesses to testify at hearings
- Arranges depositions
- Assists lawyers at hearings
- Organizes and maintains case files and case tracking information
