Job Summary:
Oversees and carries out research compliance analysis and activities in a specific compliance program area to ensure compliance with applicable lawsand regulationsas well as institutional policies and guidelines. Develops and executes implementation of processes and operations to ensure institutional compliance with regulatory requirements

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes compliance applications to assists faculty, researchers, administrative staff, compliance committees, leadership, and others to ensure institutional compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, and policies
- Issues compliance notifications and provides education and resources to inquiring entities. May oversee or create and deliver educational and training materials to campus stakeholder groups
- Creates, maintains, and submits communication materials, and other compliance documents in accordance with established programmatic needs, laws, and regulations
- Develops, implements, and evaluates policies and procedures related to compliance with federal, state, local, and/or university regulations
- Serves as a subject matter expertfor internal and external stakeholder groups, providing organizational or regulatory information in a specific compliance programand participates in unit and/or institutional committees
- With program leadership, plans, implements, executes, and evaluates strategies and objectives for the compliance unit for program or functional enhancement
- May serve as a lead worker to staff
