Job Summary:
Develops and evaluates programs and curriculum designed to promote diversity and equality. Supervises staff and provides guidance to groups to foster a supportive institutional culture.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with strategic planning initiatives and assists in establishing unit objectives to meet diversity needs
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Serves as the unit liaison to internal stakeholder groups to identify opportunities, cultivate and foster cross-unit collaboration and cooperation
- Monitors budget and financial activities for grant funding.
- Assists with developing operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and diversity objectives
