Job Summary:
Develops and oversees assessment strategy, policy, and protocol for one or more academic programs, and academic planning. May assign or supervise the work of others.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, executes, and evaluates data collection initiatives, and maintains management and collection resources
- Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison to internal and external stakeholders
- Provides operational guidance on the implementation of new or revised institutional operational policies and procedures for learning and programmatic assessment
- Continuously improves methods and processes for assessment instrument development
- Collects, prepares, and analyzes data, and prepares reports
- Manages complex databases and performs analyses of large data sets
- May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
